Crispy Sausage Bread With Black Sesame Seeds

These sausage bread rolls are wrapped with a crispy French baguette-style dough that contains black sesame seeds. They're topped with lots of cheese. ♪

Ingredients: 6 rolls

All purpose flour
150 g
94 g or so
3 g
5 g
Instant dry yeast
1.5 g
○ Olive oil
5 g
○ Black sesame seeds
10 g
○ Coarse grind wiener sausages (6-7cm long ones)
○ Pizza cheese
as needed


1. Mix and knead all the ingredient together except for the ones marked ○. Add the olive oil, and knead some more.
2. Knead the black sesame seeds into the dough evenly. Round the dough off into a smooth ball, and let it rise (1st rising).
3. Divide into 6 pieces and rest for 15 minutes.
4. Roll each piece of dough out about 20cm long. Wrap the dough around a sausage and seal the end securely on the bottom. Leave the rolls to rise for about 30 minutes (2nd rising).
5. Make shallow slashes on the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle with pizza cheese.
6. Mist the dough with water, and bake in a preheated 240 °C oven for about 12 minutes.
