Fluffy Tea-Flavored Cupcakes

These cupcakes are best fresh from the oven. They're crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Give this recipe a try!

Ingredients: 6 servings (45x30mm mini cups)

Black tea
1 bag
Milk
1 tablespoon
☆Cake flour
70g
☆Baking powder
1g
Margarine
40g
Sugar
40g
Egg

Steps

1. Take the tea leaves out of the sachet and put them in a heat-resistant bowl. Add milk, and microwave for 15-20 seconds at 500W, then stir.
2. Bring the margarine to room temperature in advance. Sift the ☆ ingredients together. Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
3. Put the margarine in a separate bowl and whip until creamy.
4. Add the sugar and mix well. Add the beaten egg and mix until smooth.
5. Add the tea leaves from Step 1 and mix.
6. Add the sifted ☆ ingredients, and mix until the mixture is no longer floury.
7. Spoon the batter into baking cups. Fill each cup up to 70-80%. (The batter should be runny enough to pour into the cups.)
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 170℃ for 20 minutes. Poke with a bamboo skewer to check, and they're done if it comes out clean!
