Seriously Delicious! Sesame Cream Cheese Dorayaki

These are so addictive!! And the combination of sesame and cream cheese looks really attractive.


Pancake mix
150 g
50 ml
1 tablespoon
Soft brown sugar
1 tablespoon
Cream cheese
as needed
Black sesame seeds
to taste
to taste


1. Combine the egg, milk, soft brown sugar, and mirin and mix well.
2. Add the pancake mix and mix until there are no more lumps.
3. Heat up a frying pan and then set it on top of a wet dish towel. Pour in the batter very slowly. If you pour it from high above the pan, it's easier to make a nice round pancake.
4. When the surface of the batter starts to bubble, flip the pancakes over and continue cooking.
5. When both sides are cooked, set the frying pan on the wet dish towel. Remove the cooked pancakes.
6. Place the pancakes together with the insides facing each other and cover with plastic wrap.
7. With the pan still sitting on the wet dish towel, pour in more batter. Then return the pan to the heat. This trick will keep them from burning!! Repeat these steps to cook the rest of the pancakes.
8. Combine cream cheese, black sesame, and honey and mix well.
9. Spread the pancakes with cream cheese.
