Basic Crispy Cookie Cutter Cookies

Basic Crispy Cookie Cutter Cookies

These are health cookies with a small amount of butter. They're very easy and very tasty. I want people who have never baked cookies before, or people who want to enjoy rearranging the recipe to give this a try!

Ingredients: 30 ~ 40 pieces (2 mm thick)

Milk or beaten eggs (Milk makes the cookies white, and milky!)
2 tablespoons
Unsalted margarine or unsalted butter
35 g
2 ~ 3 tablespoons
White flour
120 g
Vanilla extract (optional)
2 drops

1. Microwave the butter for about 10 seconds, and mix with spatula by mashing. If you bring the butter to room temperature, you don't need to microwave.
2. Add sugar and vanilla extract, and mix well.
3. Add a beaten eggs or milk, and mix well until the mixture is smooth and no longer lumpy as illustrated in the picture. I recommend using a whisk.
4. Add flour, mix, and roll into a ball. Using a spatula works better.
5. Place the dough on top of plastic wrap or on the work surface with flour. Roll out with a rolling pin into 2 ~ 3 mm.
6. Cut out shapes with your favorite cookie cutters.
7. Lay on parchment paper over a baking sheet. You only see one baking sheet in the picture, but you will make 2 baking sheets worth of cookies.
8. Bake in the oven at 180℃ / 355℉ for about 17 ~ 19 minutes. You don't need to preheat the oven. If the dough is thin, 17-minute baking time will be perfect. Please be careful not to burn them.
9. Done. (
10. It's also delicious with chocolate chips, black tea leaves, matcha, or almonds!

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to make easy crispy cookies.
I took tips from various recipes, and I arranged the ingredients a little bit.
