Simple & Healthy Soy Milk Carbonara

This is a simple carbonara that doesn't require heavy cream.
It's so healthy and delicious.

Ingredients: 1 serving

100 g
Egg yolk
Grated cheese
2 heaped tablespoons
Soy milk ①
1 1/2 tablespoons
40 g
a small amount
Coarsely ground black pepper
a small amount
Soy milk ②
75 ml
Extra fillings (e.g. mushrooms)
as desired


1. Boil the pasta for 1 minute less than instructed to do so by the packet.
2. Combine the egg yolks, soy milk ①, grated cheese, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
3. Cut the bacon into thin strips and fry in a frying pan (fry it in some olive oil for best results).
4. Transfer the boiled pasta to the frying pan as well and mix it together with the bacon. Pour in soy milk ② and bring the mixture to a boil.
5. Stop the heat and add the mixture that was prepared in Step 2. The mixture will cook in residual heat.
6. It's ready.
7. When serving the pasta on a plate, transfer the mixture as you turn the plate clockwise so that it looks like it was served at a restaurant.
