Steamed Vegetables with Avocado Sauce

A simple recipe that's macrobiotic and vegetarian.

Ingredients: 2 servings

6 florets
4-5 cm
Kabocha squash
A: Avocado
A: Soy mayonnaise
2 tablespoons plus
A: Salt and pepper
as required
A: Lemon
1 teaspoon
A: Wasabi
1 teaspoon


1. Cut the vegetables into bite-sized pieces. First steam the kabocha squash and carrots. When they have softened, steam the broccoli for 2 minutes, then remove the vegetables from the steamer.
2. Mix the 'A' ingredients to make the sauce. Arrange everything on a plate, and you're done! Season with salt, pepper, and mayonnaise if you like.
