Spicy and Delicious Taiwan Ramen

This can be made easily with store-bought ramen. It's spicy and delicious! This will get you sweating.

Ingredients: serves 2

Store-bought soy sauce-flavored ramen
2 servings
Ground pork
Chinese garlic chives
1/2 bunch
2 cloves
Red chili peppers (sliced)
1/2 teaspoon
Sesame oil
to taste
1 teaspoon
★Soy sauce
1 teaspoon
★Cooking sake
1 tablespoon
1/2 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
Weipa (or chicken soup stock)
1/2 teaspoon


1. Remove the stem of the garlic and slice. Cut the chives into 5 cm. Mix the ★ ingredients and set aside.
2. Thoroughly saute the garlic and chili peppers in sesame oil (low heat).
3. Once fragrant, add ground pork and cook until it changes color (medium heat).
4. Once the meat has cooked through, add the ★ ingredients and lightly cook.
5. Add the chives last and then mix. This completes your topping. Top over store bought soy sauce-flavored ramen and serve.

Story Behind this Recipe

Back when I lived in Nagoya, I often ate this at the Kakuozan shops (Yukichan Ramen?). Ajisen is also delicious.
