Simple Hamburgers using Spring Cabbage

These are simple spring cabbage hamburgers. The are extremely juicy and delicious! You could also use 1 whole onion if you omit the cabbage.

Ingredients: About 10 patties

♡ Ground beef and pork mix
500 g
Spring cabbage
220 g (about 1/3 onion)
♡ Onion
110 g (1/2)
♡ Eggs
♡ Katakuriko
1 tablespoon
♡ Panko
15 g
♡ Dashida
1 tablespoon
♡ Salt
a little less than a teaspoon
Salt (for the spring cabbage)
1 teaspoon
Vegetable oil
as needed
Sauce: Mix okonomiyaki Sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise in a 2:2:1 ration. You could also eat it with oroshi ponzu or mustard . ♡

1. Finely chop the onions and cabbage, add the chopped cabbage into a bowl and rub with salt until it wilts, rinse in water, and squeeze thoroughly.
2. In a bowl, mix the ♡ ingredients and knead together. Once it has clumped together, add cabbages, and knead more.
3. Remove the excess air from 2, and mold into patties. Shown above are six 100 g patties, and 8 stuffed green peppers. Using a sieve, sift flour over the stuffed peppers.
4. Add vegetable to a pan over medium low heat, add the patties, cover with a lid, cook for 2 minutes, flip over and cover with plenty of water. Cover with a lid again and cook for another 5 minutes.
5. Grill the stuffed peppers for 13-14 minutes over medium heat (cook on both sides).
