Chop up the bacon into small pieces and set to the side. Mix everything but the butter together and knead it. Finally add in the butter and knead again. Let the dough rise.
Break the dough into 6-8 portions and let it sit for 15 minutes.
With a rolling pin, roll out the dough into a teardrop shape and place the bacon on top. From the bottom, slowly roll up the dough having the edge facing down. Let the dough rise a second time.
Coat it with some milk for the finishing touches, and in a preheated oven at 190°C and bake for 13-15 minutes.

Story Behind this Recipe
When making sandwiches is troublesome, I planned something that my children and husband would eat as is. This is that delicious bread roll.
When you are rolling the dough, it is sticky so it can be a bit stressful. I was easily able to make these rolls. Feel free to make them in whatever shape you like. Be sure to adjust the recipe to your oven's capability.
