Simple Marinade & Bake Drumstick Roast Chicken

Just marinade in a bag and bake.

Ingredients: serves about 4

Chicken wing drumsticks
8 to 10
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
2 tablespoons
Soy sauce
4 tablespoons
1 teaspoon
Salt and pepper
to taste
4 to 5 condiment packets


1. Use a fork to poke holes in the meat to help it absorb the flavors.
2. Add all of the ingredients to a plastic bag. The wasabi condiment packets that often come with sushi are the secret ingredient.
3. After they've marinated for over an hour, wipe off any excess marinade and bake in the preheated oven at 300℃ for about 18 minutes. Lightly boil any leftover marinade and set side.
4. Once they've finished baking, top with the boiled marinade and they're complete.

Story Behind this Recipe

I felt there was just something lacking with the usual roast chicken, so I tried various things and finally arrived at wasabi!
When I don't have time to make dinner, I just put everything in a bag in the morning to marinate, then bake in the oven at night. It's soft and easy to eat. Wasabi from the fridge is the secret ingredient!
