Easy Satsuma-age Fried Fish Cakes Topped with a Wasabi, Scallion, and Mayonnaise Sauce

Here's an easy oven-prepared dish. It's so tasty with the nice kick of wasabi. For times when you need one more side dish item. It's also perfect as an appetizer.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Satsuma-age
4, small
☆Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons
☆Wasabi paste (tubed)
3-4 cm (or 1 1/2-2 teaspoons)
☆Soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon
☆ Finely chopped green onions or scallions

Steps

1. Place the satsuma-age on a sheet of aluminum foil, then toast in the oven until nicely browned.
2. Once they cool off slightly, slice them into 5 mm sticks and put them in a serving dish.
3. Combine the ingredients and pour over the satsuma-age sticks. Then, they're ready to serve.
