Pickled Celery Leaves with Lemon and Soy Sauce

These are fresh, western-style pickles. Good as an appetizer to go with drinks, or to add extra flavor to another dish. Perfect preserved food too.

Ingredients

Celery leaves
One head's worth
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon
Olive oil
1 teaspoon
Sugar
1 teaspoon
Soy sauce
2 teaspoons
Pepper
a small amount

Steps

1. Tear the celery leaves roughly by hand.
2. Mix lemon juice, olive oil, sugar, soy sauce and pepper together.
3. Put celery leaves in the seasoning mix of Step 2 and rub lightly. Store in the refrigerator for half a day, and enjoy.
