Sautéed Chicken Breast with Broccoli

Sautéed Chicken Breast with Broccoli

I am really into chicken breasts these days, as they are low in calories yet high in protein.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken breast
200 g
1 head
Chicken stock powder
1 teaspoon
To taste
Pre-seasoning the chicken
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon

1. Cut the broccoli into small florets and boil for about 3 minutes. Drain in a colander.
2. Skin the chicken breast and slice into into 1 cm thick diagonal pieces.
3. Cut again into rectangles, mix with sake, soy sauce, and katakuriko.
4. Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Once the oil is heated, sauté the chicken pieces from Step 3.
5. When the chicken browns, turn over to cook the other side.
6. Add in the broccoli and the chicken bone soup stock powder. Taste and add more salt if needed.

Story Behind this Recipe

I saw a chef making this on TV, so I tried it myself with chicken breast. It's an entirely different recipe to the one I saw, so naturally the taste may be different, but I put chicken, which was cheap, and broccoli together.
