Delicious! Ketchup and Honey Chicken

Delicious! Ketchup and Honey Chicken

This is an interpretation of a recipe that I saw in a magazine a while back. It's really good!!

Ingredients: 4 servings

Chicken thighs
2 small
Salt and pepper
to taste
as needed
4-5 tablespoons
2 tablespoons
2 tablespoons
*Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
*Grated garlic (tubed type)
a little
Mizuna greens (or lettuce, cabbage)
as needed

1. Cut the chicken thighs up into bite-sized pieces.
2. Season the meat with salt and pepper and coat in katakuriko.
3. Chop the onion.
4. Stir-fry the chicken in a pan. I want to fry everything at once so I'm using a non-stick sukiyaki pan.
5. Once the chicken starts to get cooked through, cook the onion in the same pan.
6. Once the onion has also cooked, mix it together with the chicken.
7. Mix together the seasonings marked with *.
8. Mix the seasoning into the chicken and onion in the frying pan.
9. Arrange the mizuna greens (or any other leafy vegetable) on a plate and serve the chicken on top.

Story Behind this Recipe

I saw a recipe in a magazine a while back and re-arranged it to make this one. It's really delicious and loved by everyone I know! The flavours from the sauce match so well with the greens below. Please feel free to try this at home!
