Storing Ground Meat in the Freezer

Give this alternative method for storing any leftover ground meat a try!

Ingredients

Ground meat
approximately 300 g
Onion
approx. 3 medium
Olive oil
as needed
Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste

Steps

1. Finely chop the onion, and slowly sauté until caramelised. Use a high heat first, and turn it down to low after the onions are cooked through.
2. Then add the ground meat, and break it up while cooking, until it becomes crumbly.
3. Once cooked, transfer it to a tray and leave to cool.
4. Once cooled, divide it into your desired amount, and wrap in cling film. Store in the freezer.
