Yakisoba Flavored Toast

Just one slice of this toast with fill you up.
If you have leftover sauce granules from a packet of yakisoba noodles, give this a try.

Ingredients: 1 slice

Bread (I like the 1/2 inch thick kind)
1 slice
☆ Mayonnaise (I use reduced calorie mayonnaise)
2 teaspoons
☆ Yakisoba sauce granules (from a pack of yakisoba noodles)
Less than 1/4 teaspoon
About 20g
1 slice
★ Yakisoba sauce granules (from a pack of yakisoba noodles)
A small amount
A small amount
★Bonito flakes
A small amount
★ Beni-shouga pickled ginger (optional)
A small amount
Melting-type sliced cheese
1 slice


1. Combine the ☆ mayonnaise and yakisoba sauce granules in a small bowl. Set aside.
2. Chop up the cabbage and ham.
3. Completely coat one side of the bread with the mixture from Step 1.
4. Top the bread with the ham and cabbage, then top with the ★ ingredients.
5. Top with the sliced cheese and toast in a toaster oven. Enjoy!

Story Behind this Recipe

We always have leftover yakisoba sauce granules after making yakisoba. I thought up a delicious way to use them up so that they don't go to waste.
