Spinach with Sesame and Tuna

Spinach with Sesame and Tuna

When you're tired of the old-school sesame sauce, why don't you jazz it up with these ingredients? Your kids will love this flavor.

1 bunch
Canned tuna
1 can (80 g)
★ Ground sesame seeds
2 tablespoons plus
★ Beet sugar (or regular sugar)
1 tablespoon
★ Vinegar
1 tablespoon
★ Soy sauce
2 teaspoons

1. Drain the oil or soup from the tuna and flake it. Usually, I use Yushuna-san's oil draining method for canned tuna while I do other house chores.
2. Rinse the spinach thoroughly and boil, then chop into bite-sizes. The roots are the most nutritious, so let's cut them into small pieces and use them.
3. Combine ★ ingredients. Add the tuna and spinach, mix together, and serve.
4. Yushuna-san's Oil Draining Method for Canned Tuna. (Recipe ID: 763958)

Story Behind this Recipe

When my son was finishing baby food, I wanted to think of a good sesame sauce recipe that would please his appetite, even though he usually favors vinegar sauce.
