10 minutes! Rosemary Steamed Pork

10 minutes! Rosemary Steamed Pork

You can make the main dish and the sides just in one frying pan.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Pork (block) cut into chunks
400 g
about 50 g
dried, 1 to 2 teaspoons
Soup stock granules
1 teaspoon
For the sauce:
Balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
1 teaspoon
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
1 teaspoon

1. Line a pan with the washed spinach and cut up carrot, and layer the pork pieces on top.
2. Dissolve the soup stock in 300 ml of hot water, and add to the pan. Sprinkle the rosemary on top of the meat, cover the pan with a lid and steam for about 5 minutes.
3. When the moisture in the pan is gone, it's done.
4. Combine the sauce ingredients in a small pan, bring to a boil and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes at a temperature low enough that the sauce doesn't start spitting.
5. Serve on a plate, pour the sauce over, and it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

This is a pan steamed dish, one of my favorite cooking methods! I tried steaming a block of pork.
