Herb Steamed Chicken with Lemon Soy Sauce in 10 Minutes

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken thighs
about 350 g
Carrot
1/2
Dried basil (or dried parsley)
2 teaspoons
Salt and pepper
to taste
For the sauce:
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
Sugar
1 teaspoon
Lemon juice
2 tablespoons
Olive oil
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. In a skillet, spread the sliced carrot and place the bite-sized chicken thigh on top. Sprinkle on the dried basil, salt and pepper, and pour in 300 ml of water. Cover and steam it for 5 minutes.
2. Sauce: Add all the ingredients for the sauce in a saucepan. Heat it up without boiling until all the sugar dissolves, and it is done.
3. Serve it with wedged lemon or garnish it with parsley if you have it at home. You can drizzle on the sauce or serve it on the side of the chicken.
