Yellowtail with Shio-Koji Steamed in a Microwave

I marinated some yellow tail and steamed it in a microwave. Since it's quick and easy, this is a great dish to have when you are busy.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Yellow tail (buri)
2 large
1 tablespoon
★Shio-koji (salt-fermented rice malt)
2 teaspoons (Recipe ID: 1745052)
Daikon radish
5 cm
Green onion
1 stalk
1 tablespoon
☆Garlic soy sauce
1-2 teaspoons (Recipe ID: 1721192)
☆Sesame oil
1 teaspoon


1. Chop each yellow tail into 3 pieces, and marinate in the ★ ingredients for 15 minutes. Julienne the daikon radish and carrot, then cut the green onion into thin round slices.
2. Arrange the daikon radish and carrot in a heatproof dish, and swirl in the ☆ ingredients. Place the yellow tail on top, loosely cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 4-5 minutes.
3. When finished cooking, sprinkle with the green onion.
