Easy Italian-Style Salted Salmon

While it might look like an Italian-style grilled salmon, it's actually just a cut of lightly salted salmon. A dash of lemon and olive oil tone down the fishy smell.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Lightly salted salmon (I use sockeye salmon)
4 cuts
4 wedges
Extra virgin olive oil
as needed
Coarsely ground black pepper
to taste
Salt (optional)
to taste


1. Grill the lightly salted salmon.
2. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil, a dash of coarsely ground black pepper, squeeze lemon juice, and it's ready to serve.
3. Season with salt to taste.

When my cut of lightly salted salmon wasn't salty enough, I seasoned it heavily with lemon, olive oil, and black pepper, and transformed it into an Italian dish! For an easy and accessible Italian meal.
