German Potatoes with Coarsely Ground Sausages

This potato salad goes really well with beer. It's one of my husband's favorite dishes.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Coarsely ground wiener sausages
Whole grain mustard
1 tablespoon
1 heaping tablespoon
Salt and pepper
To taste
Vegetable oil
To taste


1. Coarsely chop the onion and slice the wiener sausages.
2. Dice the potatoes, put into a microwavable cooking container (like a silicone steamer) and microwave for a bit less than 3 minutes at 600 W. (Adjust the cooking time depending on your microwave.)
3. Heat some oil in a frying pan and stir fry the onion and sausages. Stir-fry until the onions are brown to bring out their sweetness.
4. Put the potatoes, onion and sausages in a bowl, and mix with mayonnaise and whole grain mustard.
5. Season with salt and pepper to finish.
