Easy Microwave-Steamed Salmon and Mushrooms in a Silicone Steamer

This is a recipe that uses a silicone steamer in a microwave. It's done in less than 10 minutes ! This is a good, made-at-home dish for when you don't feel like cooking, but don't want takeout.

Ingredients: 3 servings

Raw salmon
3 fillets
Cabbage
2 leaves
Shimeji and enoki mushrooms
2 packs altogether
Ponzu
3 tablespoons
Butter
1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons
Sake
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Cut the cabbage into thick strips. Slice the mushrooms to bite size. Place in a silicone steamer.
2. Lay the salmon fillets on top as shown in the photo so that they won't overlap.
3. Arrange little pats of butter on top. Swirl on the ponzu and sake.
4. Cover and steam at 800 W for 5 to 6 minutes.
5. When the fish has turned whitish thoroughly, it's cooked through.
6. You can substitute butter with butter-flavored margarine.
