French Toast Baguettes with Shio-Koji

I used the popular shio-koji (salt-fermented rice malt) to make these.
They are very delicious.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Baguette
2 slices
Shio-koji
1 generous teaspoon
Egg
1
Milk
2 tablespoons
Granulated sugar
as needed
Butter
10 g

Steps

1. Whisk together the shio-koji, eggs, and milk, then soak the baguette slices in it.
2. Thoroughly immerse both sides.
3. Sprinkle granulated sugar on the tops of the slices.
4. In a heated pan, melt the butter, then fry the baguette slices, with the sugared side down.
5. Flip them over, then sprinkle more granulated sugar and fry.

I used shio-koji in this recipe. I've been using shio-koji to make various dishes, and so I used it to make French toast.
