Meaty Twice Cooked Pork

This filling and richly flavored twice cooked pork dish is made with just Spring cabbage and meat. This is recommend for anyone who loves rich sauces and for those who are heavy eaters.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Thinly sliced pork shoulder
250-280 g
Spring cabbage
1/4 head
Tianmianjiang
3 tablespoons (Recipe ID: 1714981)
Doubanjiang
1 teaspoon
Garlic (minced)
1 clove
Ginger (minced)
1/2 knob
★Sake
1 tablespoon
★Soy sauce
2 teaspoons
★Oyster sauce
1 teaspoon
★Chinese soup stock
1/2 teaspoon
★Katakuriko
1/2 teaspoon
Vegetable oil
as needed
Sesame oil
to taste

Steps

1. Roughly chop the cabbage. Briefly parboil the meat and then drain in a colander. Combine the ★ ingredients.
2. Heat up some oil in a wok and cook the ginger and garlic until fragrant. Add the doubanjiang and tianmianjiang and cook while mixing well with the oil.
3. Add the meat and cook while coating with the sauce from Step 2. Add the cabbage and once it becomes tender, stir in the ★ ingredients quickly. Lastly, swirl in some sesame oil.
