Oil-free Homemade Peanut Butter Made without Water

Oil-free Homemade Peanut Butter Made without Water

You can easily make peanut butter in a food processor. It's oil-free, so you can eat lots.

Ingredients: 1 jam jar's worth (I used Bonne Maman brand)

Unshelled peanuts
178 g (net)
40 g

1. Dry-roast the peanuts in a frying pan or oven.
2. The oil from the nuts will emerge when heated, making them easier to process!
3. Put them in the food processor, and mix at high speed.
4. After 1 minute.
5. After 2 minutes.
6. After 3 minutes.
7. After 4 minutes.
8. After mixing for 4 minutes, add the sugar.
9. Mix for 30 seconds. It's done when the sugar is mixed in.
10. Put it in a clean jar and store it in the fridge. Made with the amounts listed, it filled one jar perfectly!!
11. It contains no added oil so it's a little on the firm side. Please understand that depending on the peanuts you are using, it might not have a paste-like consistency.

Story Behind this Recipe
