Chicken Tomato Simmer (Chicken Cacciatora)

This is an easy-to-make chicken simmer. It's also delicious served over pasta.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Chicken thighs with or without bones
500 g
Garlic oil
1 tablespoon (Recipe ID: 1721243)
Finely minced garlic
1 clove
1 medium
Canned tomatoes
400 g
250 ml
White wine
50 ml
Soup stock cube
2 teaspoons
2 teaspoons
Herb salt
to taste
Black pepper
to taste
Finely chopped parsley
to taste


1. Mince the onions and carrots. Cut the chicken into 6 pieces, season with salt and pepper, then use a tea strainer to coat with cake flour.
2. Add the garlic oil to a thick frying pan, then cook the chicken with the skin side down. Once it's browned, turn it over and cook the other side, then remove.
3. Add the minced garlic and vegetables to the frying pan from Step 2 and cook. Put the meat back and add white wine.
4. Add the canned tomatoes, water, and soup stock to Step 3, and simmer for 30 minutes. Flavor with sugar, black pepper, and herb salt.
