Exquisite Dekopon Jam in the Microwave

You can use iyokana, hassaku (Japanese citrus fruits similar to tangerines), or any kind of orange for this recipe. It's easy because you don't need to peel off the skin! Grated apple is also used in this exquisite jam.

Ingredients

Dekopon (Siranui citrus fruit)

Apple

◎Katakuriko
2 teaspoons
◎Sugar
80 g

Steps

1. Squeeze out the juice from the dekopon and pour into a silicon steamer (or a small rice bowl).
2. Grate the apple directly into the silicon steamer from Step 1. (This is to prevent discoloring.) Add the ◎ ingredients and mix well.
3. Microwave for 3 minutes, take out, mix and microwave for another 1 minute. Mix one last time and it's done.
