Soft Milky Bread with Cake Flour

You'll be surprised at how incredibly soft this bread is! It uses 100% cake flour, but tastes like bakery-bought bread thanks to the tofu.

Ingredients: makes 1 loaf in a bread maker

Beaten egg (whole egg)
50 g (1 medium)
100 ml
Silken tofu (divided into 2 portions)
50 g
Cake flour
250 g
25 g
3 g
Butter (or margarine)
30 g
Dry yeast
4 g


1. Combine the beaten egg and milk. Add the ingredients in order from the top of the list to the bread maker. Use the dry yeast course.
2. Choose the white bread course with a light crust and start. Once it's finished, remove from the bread maker and it's complete.

I saw on TV that mixing tofu with pancake mix gives a soft texture. I thought you could bake bread with cake flour and tofu and gave it a try. It was so soft and delicious, so I decided to upload the recipe.
