Easy Homemade Tianmianjiang

You can make this in 5 minutes in a saucepan. Tianmianjiang is really useful to have as you can use it for a lot of different dishes.


Hatcho miso (or red miso)
200 g
6 tablespoons
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
50 ml


1. Put all the ingredients into a saucepan, and simmer for 5-6 minutes over low heat.
2. Cool it down a little, then pour into a container to store in the refrigerator.
