Thri-coloured Namul

Thri-coloured Namul

A three-coloured namul made with spinach, carrot and bean sprouts. It's lightly seasoned, so you can eat as much as you like.


1/2 bunch
Bean sprouts
1 bag
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
White sesame seeds
1 tablespoon
1/2 teaspoon
Grated garlic
1 clove


1. Julienne the carrot. Put the bean sprouts in a bowl and wash well. (Wash the spinach well to remove dirt.)
2. Add the salt to the bean sprouts and boil. Add the carrots halfway through, and drain them in a sieve when boiled. (Don't rinse in water.)
3. Boil the spinach, rinse it, and squeeze out the moisture. Slice it into fourths.
4. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl to finish.

This is a standard dish in our house. It's nice without grated garlic.
