Time Saving Ginger Fried Pork (no marinating)

Time Saving Ginger Fried Pork (no marinating)

This is a popular ginger fried pork that you can make whenever you fancy. It cuts out the marinating process altogether, but doesn't skimp on any of the big flavor that's characteristic of ginger fried pork.

Ingredients: 4 to 5 servings

Pork pieces
Vegetable oil
1 teaspoon
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
Grated ginger

Shredded cabbage
As much as you like

1. Coat a frying pan with some vegetable oil, and stir fry the pork. Pork pieces easily stick to the pan, so loosen with chopsticks as you cook.
2. Just before the pork is cooked through, add the grated ginger, mirin, sake, and soy sauce. When the pork has been well coated, add the katakuriko slurry to thicken the sauce a little.
3. Place the pork on top of the shredded cabbage and serve!
