Easy 5-Minute Broccoli Stalk Appetizer

Easy 5-Minute Broccoli Stalk Appetizer

Don't toss our your broccoli stalks! Quickly stir-fry with added flavors for another side dish. The butter-soy sauce taste eliminates the bitterness of the broccoli stalk.

Broccoli stalks
1 head's worth
1 teaspoon
Soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon
a small amount (about 1/4 teaspoon)
Salt and pepper
a small amount

1. Shave off the surface of the broccoli stalks with a knife (as if peeling it off), and cut into 5 cm long strips. Mince the garlic.
2. Put the butter and the garlic in a frying pan, sauté until fragrant, then add in the broccoli stalks and continue to sauté.
3. Once the stalks become tender, add the soy sauce, and season with salt and pepper to taste. It's done!
4. I recommend liberally seasoning the stalks to tone down their bitterness. Adjust the flavor to taste with garlic and soy sauce.
