Chicken and Bell Pepper Garlic Soy Sauce Stir-fry

Chicken and Bell Pepper Garlic Soy Sauce Stir-fry

This simple dish goes really well with rice. I recommend you add lots of bell peppers.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Chicken breast (skinless)
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
Bell peppers (1 red if you have)
2 cloves
1 tablespoon
1 scant tablespoon
□ Soy sauce (or garlic soy sauce)
2 tablespoons
2 tablespoons

1. Slice the chicken into thin strips. Season with salt and pepper, and add the *sake and *katakuriko. Slice the bell peppers into vertical strips 1 cm wide, and slice the garlic.
2. Heat a generous amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan, and fry the chicken until lightly browned. (The pieces will be easier to untangle once fried.) Remove from the frying pan.
3. Wipe the frying pan, and fry the garlic in vegetable oil.
4. Add the bell peppers and fry.
5. Add the chicken.
6. Combine the ingredients marked □, then add them to the frying pan. It will sizzle. Stir it well as it simmers to finish.

Story Behind this Recipe

I had some chicken in the freezer and bell peppers in the fridge, so I made this easy side dish.
