Easy Quiche with Spinach and Bacon

It's easy! It takes just 10 minutes to make, if you exclude the baking time! Any ingredients you have at home will work well in this quiche!

Ingredients: For one large gratin dish

2 bunches
Onion, thinly sliced
40 g
◎ Milk
100 ml
◎Chicken soup stock granules
1 teaspoon each
Margarine (melted)
1 teaspoon each
◎Salt and pepper
To taste
Melting cheese
As much as you like


1. Cut the onion to about 2 mm widths, the bacon into 1 x 2 cm strips, and the spinach into 2 cm lengths.
2. Put the prepared ingredients (in the order of onion, bacon, and spinach on top) in a plastic bag, and microwave for 2 minutes at 600 W.
3. In a bowl, break in 2 eggs and mix well. Add the ◎ ingredients into the bowl and mix further.
4. Combine the bacon in Step 2 with the egg mixture in Step 3. Coat the gratin dish with the melted margarine (not listed).
5. Pour the mixture in Step 4 into the gratin dish, and sprinkle on plenty of melting cheese. Bake in the preheated oven set to 200ºC for about 15-20 minutes, then it's ready to serve.

Story Behind this Recipe

Quiches are to easy to present prettily, but they're surprisingly easy to make! They come to the rescue whenever I haven't got a clue what to make for dinner. This one's our family favourite that regularly goes on the menu.
