Stir Fried Udon Noodles with Melting Cheese and Fluffy Eggs

Stir Fried Udon Noodles with Melting Cheese and Fluffy Eggs

Yaki-udon (stir-fried udon noodles) with a twist. Topped with fluffy egg and melted cheese!

Ingredients: 1 serving

Udon noodles
1 pack
Wiener sausages
2
Onion
1/2 small
Eggs
2
Processed easy-melt cheese
2 pieces
Tonkatsu sauce (Japanese style Worcestershire sauce or steak sauce)
2-3 tablespoons
Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
1/2 tablespoon

Steps

1. Cut the sausages into diagonal slices.
2. Slice the onion thinly.
3. Cut the cheese into small pieces to make it easier to mix in, and combine with the egg to make the beaten egg mixture.
4. Heat some oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the sausages and onion until the onion is wilted.
5. Add the udon noodles and sauces and mix together. Transfer to a serving plate.
6. Wash out the frying pan, add a generous amount of oil and heat. Add the egg mixture.
7. Stir in the egg around the pan, and when it's soft set, gather into one mass and slide on top of the udon noodles.
8. This is the brand of cheese I used.
