Big Brownies with Cocoa

Big Brownies with Cocoa

Just mix all the ingredients in order in one bowl!! Bake a big baking sheet full of brownies in one go. These are great for snacks, or for Valentine's Day treats.

Ingredients: 25 x 28 cm baking sheet

Eggs (room temperature)
150 g
a pinch
Vegetable oil
200 ml
Raisins (chopped up coarsely)
100 g
Walnuts (chopped up coarsely)
50 g
Sift together:
Plain white flour
120 g
Baking powder
1 teaspoon
Pure cocoa powder
3 tablespoons

1. Line a baking sheet with kitchen parchment paper. Have all the ingredients ready to go.
2. Mix the ingredients in the order listed in a large bowl, mixing well between additions.
3. Pour the batter in the lined baking sheet, and bake in a preheated 180°C oven for about 25 minutes. Adjust the baking time and temperature to your oven.
4. Let it cool down a bit, and then cut up in any size you like. You should cut them into squares since that's how brownies are supposed to be!?

Story Behind this Recipe

I made these to sell at a kindergarten bazaar. Since oil is used instead of butter, they are inexpensive. These brownies are light and not too rich, so they are great for kids to eat.
