Easy Ketchup and Egg Rice Bowl

A very easy recipe for those who cannot get enough of ketchup. Serve for breakfast or for lunch.

Ingredients: 1 serving

1 to 2 leaves
1 slice
★ Ketchup
2 tablespoons
★ Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
1 tablespoon
★ Mirin
1 tablespoon
★ Water
100 ml
Butter (optional)
5 g
Cooked rice (warm)
1 bowl
Black pepper, mayonnaise (optional)
Dried parsley (optional)


1. Wash the cabbage, drain well and shred. Cut the bacon into 1 cm pieces.
2. Mix and boil the ★ seasonings in a pan. Add the bacon, egg and cook to your desired consistency. Drop a pat of butter at the end.
3. Layer a rice bowl with warm rice, cabbage and the egg (with the sauce) and serve. Sprinkle parsley if you like.
