Everyday Soft Sesame Bread

A bread for you to enjoy the aroma of sesame and a spongy texture. It's also nice as a sandwich.

Ingredients: makes 8

Domestic (Japanese) strong bread flour
180 g
Rice flour
20 g
15 g
3 g
135 g
Dry yeast
2 g
Unsalted butter
20 g
Black and white sesame seed, mixed
20 g


1. Knead all of the ingredients except for the butter and sesame. Once it's come together add the butter, and then the sesame last.
2. Once you've finished kneading, make it into a nice round shape and allow to rest for the first rising.
3. Separate the dough into 8 pieces and let sit for 15 minutes. Make into round shapes again and allow to rise a second time.
4. If you like, sprinkle with rice flour. Bake in the oven at 180℃ for 13 minutes and they're done.
5. They can be used as a sandwich.
