Baked Whole Wheat and Okara Maple Donuts

I made these for my 2 year old daughter. These oil-free and sugar-free donuts have a simple, comfortingg flavor.

Ingredients: 3.5 servings, 6 donuts each

✿ฺ Whole wheat flour
100 g
✿ฺ Fresh okara
50 g
✿ฺ Baking powder
2 teaspoons
Egg (L)
1
Maple syrup
3 to 4 tablespoons

Steps

1. Warm the donut maker.
2. Add the ✿ฺ ingredients into a bowl and whip until light and airy.
3. Crack the egg into the bowl and mix a little.
4. Also add maple syrup and mix until the dough becomes even.
5. Pour the dough into an icing bag, and squeeze into the preheated donut maker.
6. Bake for 3 minutes to finish. Cool down on a rack.
7. I made these for my daughter only using healthy ingredients. She couldn't resist eating them.

Story Behind this Recipe

I made this as a snack for my 2 year old daughter.
Maple syrup is much sweeter than sugar, but has a lower GI (glucose index) and calories!! It's also tastes great. My daughter is now able to eat many kinds of foods, but as a mother, I want her to eat food that's healthier,,,so that's what I try to make for her.
