Add the ✿ฺ ingredients into a bowl and whip until light and airy.
Crack the egg into the bowl and mix a little.
Also add maple syrup and mix until the dough becomes even.
Pour the dough into an icing bag, and squeeze into the preheated donut maker.
Bake for 3 minutes to finish. Cool down on a rack.
I made these for my daughter only using healthy ingredients. She couldn't resist eating them.
Story Behind this Recipe
I made this as a snack for my 2 year old daughter. Maple syrup is much sweeter than sugar, but has a lower GI (glucose index) and calories!! It's also tastes great. My daughter is now able to eat many kinds of foods, but as a mother, I want her to eat food that's healthier,,,so that's what I try to make for her.
Because the dough doesn't contain fat might stick to the donut maker when you bake the first batch. So, prepare the donut maker well beforehand. In my case, somehow the first batch sticks significantly to my donut maker, but from the second batch onwards, it's fine… I have no idea why!
