Super-Easy Maple Muffins

In only takes 10 minutes to prepare these muffins (excluding the baking time). Enjoy the wonderful aroma of the maple syrup while they are in the oven.

Ingredients: 6 muffins

Cake flour
100 g
Baking powder
1 teaspoon
a pinch
Maple syrup
50 g
50 g
Vegetable oil
50 g
Add raisins or chocolate chips if you'd like


1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Measure out the dry ingredients in a bowl, and with the bowl still on the scale, measure out the maple syrup, milk, and vegetable oil, in this order.
2. Quickly whisk the mixture together. If you whisk too much or for too long, the muffins will not rise, so be careful.
3. Pour the batter into the muffin tins, and bake for 25 minutes in the oven.
4. Once baked, remove the muffins from the oven, and let them cool in the pan.

I read this recipe at the library. I truly admire the simplicity of it. This time I made a maple syrup version, but I have made variations by adding fruits and chocolate.
