Healthy Steamed Chicken with Fragrant Sauce in 3 Minutes

Healthy Steamed Chicken with Fragrant Sauce in 3 Minutes

Cook the chicken breast for 3 minutes and turn off the heat! Just leave it to stand and you will have surprisingly juicy meat. Serve with fragrant ginger and green onion sauce.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken (breast)
Japanese leek
about 10 cm
Ginger (grated)
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
Vinegar (grain vinegar)
1 tablespoon
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon

1. Rinse the chicken breast quickly. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt to about 1 L of boiling water. Place the chicken breast in the boiling water and cook for 3 minutes.
2. After 3 minutes, turn off the heat and cover with a lid. Leave to stand for a while. You will have a pinkish and juicy steamed chicken! Thinly slice the chicken diagonally and transfer onto a serving dish.
3. Make the fragrant sauce. Combine the grated ginger and chopped green onion. Add the soy sauce, vinegar and sesame oil. Mix well.
4. [Note:] I served this dish with lettuce in the photo. It will be healthier if you eat this chicken with plenty of vegetables. Serve with your favourite vegetables.

Story Behind this Recipe

I saw how to cook meat with residual heat on TV and I liked it. I cooked chicken breast by this method and served it with my original fragrant sauce. This combination was great and I am proud of it.
