Warm Your Body! Seared Japanese Leek and Ginger Soup

The combination of ginger and Japanese leek helps improve blood circulation, and warms your body.
This is a simple soup with only Japanese leek and ginger. It's delicious, and prevents you from catching a cold!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Japanese leek
1
Ginger (julienne)
1 thumb
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
Weipa
8 g
Water
2 cups (400 ml)
Salt and pepper
a small amount

Steps

1. Chop the Japanese leek into 5 cm lengths, and julienne the ginger.
2. Heat olive oil in a pot, add the Japanese leek, and sear until golden brown.
3. Add ginger, and briefly stir-fry. Add water and Weipa. When the Japanese leek becomes soft, sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.

I made this soup because I love ginger...
