Healthy Pork Stir-fry with Plenty of Cabbage & Glass Noodles

Healthy Pork Stir-fry with Plenty of Cabbage & Glass Noodles

This recipe uses just 3 ingredients! It also uses a lot of cabbage and plenty of glass noodles, so even if you don't have much pork, it's still really filling.

Ingredients: 4 servings

approx. 1/2 (about 500 g)
Thinly sliced pork belly (or thinly sliced pork offcuts)
150-200 g
Sake and soy sauce (for pre-seasoning)
2 teaspoons of each
Cellophane noodles
100 g
Vegetable oil
as needed
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
●Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
●Oyster sauce
2 tablespoons
●Chicken stock granules
1/2 teaspoon
2 tablespoons
●Salt and pepper
a small amount

1. Cut the cabbage and pork into bite-sized pieces. Preseason the pork with sake and soy sauce.
2. Rehydrate the glass noodles in water. They should still have some bite left in the centre. Cut them into bite-sized lengths with kitchen scissors.
3. Heat the oil over high heat and fry the meat. When it changes colour, add the cabbage and continue to fry until it becomes slightly transparent.
4. Add the glass noodles and ● ingredients. Continue to fry until the glass noodles have soaked up about half of the liquid. You're all done!

Story Behind this Recipe

As "Healthy Pork Stir-fry with Plenty of Chinese Cabbage & Glass Noodles" (Recipe ID: 1682107) was so popular, I tried making it with cabbage. It turned out delicious though it had a different texture from the Chinese cabbage!
