Gluten-Free Flour Substitute for People with Wheat Allergies

With this proportion of ingredients, you can make bread, pancakes or cakes.

Ingredients

Brown rice flour (or rice flour)
3 cups
Tapioca powder
1.5 cups
Corn starch
1/4 cup
Katakuriko
1/4 cup
Xanthan gum
2 tablespoons

Steps

1. Combine all of the ingredients in an airtight container and shake until well combined, (I use a large Ziploc bag).

Story Behind this Recipe

I experimented with gluten-free flour mixes for my nephew who has wheat allergies. I'm still experimenting, but this is a good start.
