Pea Sprouts and Chikuwa Stir-fry

This is a great, easy dish with cheap ingredients.
It's colorful in bentos.
Even those who aren't a fan of pea sprouts will like this stir fry with sesame oil and chikuwa fishcakes.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Pea sprouts
1 bag
Chikuwa
1-2
Mentsuyu (3x concentrate)
1 teaspoon
Sesame oil
a small amount
Salt and pepper
pinch

Steps

1. Slice the chikuwa, quickly wash the pea sprouts and drain well, then chop into easy-to-eat pieces.
2. In a heated pan, add a little sesame oil, and cook the pea sprouts and chikuwa. Fry until the liquid evaporates, turning up the heat while not letting it burn.
3. Add a little salt and pepper, mentsuyu, mix, and you're done.

Story Behind this Recipe

Before, when the prices of vegetable were expensive, I used inexpensive pea sprouts to make this easy and delicious stir-fry.
The kids like it, so it's a staple at our house.
