Easy Microwaved Caramel Custard in 15 Minutes

This is an easy custard that you can make in the microwave.

Ingredients

★ Sugar
2 tablespoons
★ Water
1 teaspoon plus
☆ Egg
1
☆ Sugar
1 tablespoon
☆ Milk
120 ml

Steps

1. [For the caramel] Put the ingredients marked ★ in a heatproof bowl and microwave at 600 W for 1 and 1/2 minutes. Mix and let it cool.
2. [For the pudding] Mix the ingredients marked ☆ well and then strain. Don't let it get frothy!
3. Pour the pudding mixture into the bowl containing the caramel. Loosely wrap, and microwave at 600 W for 2 minutes.
4. Remove it from the microwave and pierce with a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out clean, it's done. (It's fine if it's a little runny.)
5. Leave the plastic wrap on, and wrap it with a towel. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
6. Let it chill in the fridge to finish.
