Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan, arrange the mochi pieces which have been cut in half, and pan-fry them over medium heat.
Stick the mochi pieces together.
Form a round shape while pressing down hard with a spatula.
Turn off the heat when it becomes your desired size and thickness.
Put stir-fried vegetables seasoned with ketchup and garlic powder on top of the mochi crust. Top with melting type cheese. Cover with a lid, and pan-fry over low heat.
Once the cheese is melted, it's done.
It's crispy, fluffy, chewy and nutritious. I can't ask for more that that.
Story Behind this Recipe
It's just leftovers (vegetable stir fry) and mochi cakes, but they became a delicious pizza for a feast.
☆As long as you don't forget to add ketchup and garlic powder to the stir-fried vegetables, and adjust the flavor with salt and pepper, you can make a delicious pizza. ☆I'm thinking to try with leftover stew and curry next time.
