Fluffy Potato Cakes

This is made with grated potatoes. This is a chewy dish that you won't be able to resist! You can also use hanpen instead of the chikuwa to make it crispier.

Ingredients: 6 potato cakes

Steps

1. Cut the green onions into small pieces and thinly slice the chikuwa.
2. Grate the potatoes and onion. Put into a bowl, add the egg and flour and mix together. Add Step 1, the salt, and the pepper. Mix together.
3. Put about 1 cm of oil in a frying pan and turn the heat up to medium. Put a ladle of Step 2 into the frying pan, shape into a patty, and slowly fry on both sides until crispy.
4. Transfer to a plate and top as you like with ketchup and mayonnaise.
