Easy and Tasty Atsuage Kimchi Stir-Fry

An easy stir-fry dish with atsuage and kimchi! I think this dish is good for children as well since it's mildly flavored.

Ingredients: 2 servings

[ Atsuage ]
1 piece [ 400 g ]
[ Chinese cabbage kimchi ]
200 g
[ ★ Water ]
2 tablespoons
[ ★ Soy sauce, sugar, sake ]
1 1/2 tablespoons each
[ Sesame oil ]
1 teaspoon

Steps

1. Cut the atsuage into bite-sized pieces. If possible, pour boiling water over them to drain excess oil.
2. Heat some oil in a frying pan. Stir-fry the atsuage until both sides are golden brown. Add the ★ ingredients and the kimchi. Cook over high heat until the sauce becomes thick and coats the atsuage.
3. Season with sesame oil to finish. Dish it up and scatter some green onions if you wish.
